Genevieve Charlene Lubanya Brewah is a young Sierra Leonean-American author with a passion for writing, creativity, and history. From an early age, her imagination and curiosity inspired her to begin creating her own stories and illustrations.
With the encouragement and support of her family, Genevieve developed a deep appreciation for reading, literature, and storytelling at a young age. She has written several manuscripts and published her debut novel, The Night of the Soldiers, demonstrating creativity and thoughtful storytelling beyond her years.
Through her writing, Genevieve hopes to inspire children to embrace imagination, explore history, and discover the power of stories to educate, connect, and inspire people around the world.

By the age of four, Genevieve had already begun writing short stories and illustrating her ideas. As her creativity grew, she started typing her stories on the family computer, transforming her imagination into meaningful narratives filled with adventure, emotion, and inspiration.
Genevieve has written several stories and manuscripts, including her debut novel, The Night of the Soldiers, a historical fiction story that reflects her appreciation for history and her desire to inspire young readers through meaningful storytelling.
Through her writing, Genevieve hopes to encourage children to embrace creativity, explore history, and discover the power of stories to connect, teach, and inspire others around the world.

Genevieve has received recognition for both her academic excellence and leadership. She is a two-time Carson Scholar, a prestigious honor that recognizes outstanding academic achievement and community service. She has also earned Honor Roll recognition and received a Presidential Academic Award for her dedication to learning and academic success.
In addition, Genevieve represented elementary school students in the Young Scholars Program (Pathways in STEM) at Villanova University in Philadelphia, where she explored advanced learning opportunities and academic enrichment.
Beyond academics and writing, Genevieve has demonstrated leadership within her school community by serving as a Safety Patrol Captain, helping promote student safety and responsibility both in the classroom and during school transportation activities.
