Her mother, Ms. Musu Gloryyaema Jaiah, a native from Sierra Leone, recognized her talent and dedication by keeping her sketches secure and consistently complimenting her work. The young writer began typing her stories on the family computer, pouring out her imagination onto the screen.

Genevieve has received recognition for her exceptional talent and dedication. She is a two-time Carson Scholar, a prestigious honor that celebrates academic excellence and community service. She not only made the honor roll but also received a presidential award for her academic excellence. Additionally, she has represented elementary school students at the Young Scholars Program (Pathways in STEM) at Villanova University in Philadelphia.
Genevieve has served as a safety patrol captain, ensuring that students are aware of and adhere to classroom safety standards, as well as providing guidance on bus and crossing safety.
